I love lists!

When it's the end of the year and the magazines, newspapers, and websites are all featuring best-of lists, I am in hog heaven. This brings me to this page, where I will post links to my lists. I will also add them as posts on the Home page, but you will always be able to find them right here.

Places we have been together

These are all the places in the world that Kathleen and I have been as a couple. I have not added any of my business trips. For instance, Kathleen has never been to Minnesota (except to switch airplanes at MSP and that doesn't count) but I have for lots of corporate meetings so that won't be on this page.

Our favorite shore excursions

We have taken more than 30+ cruises and these are the best shore excursions we have ever done.

Travel Apps I love

Here are the best apps I know of for travel. I was invited to be on a radio show (remember those–that's what we had before podcasts) on KOMO radio with my buddy Seth Wayne. He asked me to tell him all about the apps I use for travel.

Best small cities in the USA

Conde Nast magazine did a great article about small towns (not really that small) in the USA. It turns out we had been to a bunch of them so I had to grab them and comment.

Cities I love in North America

Which then brought me to the idea of listing the cities I love in North America. These have complete reasons why I love them so much.

Cities I love in the rest of the World

Which of course meant I had to list the cities I love in the rest of the World. These too have complete reasons why I love them so much.

The Best and Worst of 2021

Every December, I do a best and worst list for that year (at least in 2021, 2022 and 2023), and here's 2021. It was a pretty good year.

The Best and Worst of 2022

Every December, I do a best and worst list for that year, and here's 2022. This one was pretty good too.

The Best of 2023

Every year in December, I do a best and worst list for that year, and here's 2023.

The Best of 2024

Every year in December, I do a best and worst list for that year, and here's 2024. WOW, this sounds like a broken record.
